Note: To use this project you will need a Gemini API key. To get it, you will need to make an account on the Google AI Studio site and generate it. Gemini has quite high usage limits in the free tier.

Revolutionary Game Features - some examples I imagine this could be used for.

I made this API when I had an idea to make a small Dungeons & Dragons clone but with Gemini as the Game Master. Players just write what they want to do in natural language and the game rolls the dice, sends it to Gemini, and Gemini returns the results along with an array of possible events that happened (subtracted HP, moved characters, spawned enemies, etc.).

But I dropped the idea because I don't even know how to play D&D. Instead I made an MVP of a quiz game where AI thinks of questions and answers. It's a lot of fun.

Here are some other usage ideas that are obviously amazing:

Dynamic NPC Conversations - Obviously, players can just talk to NPCs or NPCs can comment on player actions.

Procedural Storytelling - A game where every playthrough has a completely different generated story? With original characters, dangers and objectives? Hell yeah.

Intelligent Item Descriptions - Make every item in the game unique, describe how the player got the item, make a short backstory.

Adaptive World Events - With the right tools, Gemini can be used much like AI in RimWorld. AI can be the judge of how the game should go now.

Smart Tutorial Systems - Why not make Gemini comment on how pathetic you are?

Adaptive content can be amazing. AI doesn't need to be anti-creative - use it wisely.
