Bullet Meltdown v0.4.0.0 "Parmesan" is Here!

Hey everyone!

Here we are - version 0.4.0.0 "Parmesan" is finally ready and it's probably the biggest update yet.

The main thing everyone's gonna notice? We finally have a proper final boss! Yeah, I know it took forever but trust me it was worth the wait. This thing shows up on wave 15 and it's... well, let's just say it's not messing around.

Oh and speaking of bosses - there's now mini bosses too. They pop up on waves 5 and 10, plus I added some surprise ones that can randomly appear at the end of waves.  Oh and they have scary spider legs. Good luck with that.

The shop got a nice upgrade with a wave progress map so you can actually see where you're at. Super simple but makes a huge difference when you're deep into a run. It highlights incoming bosses and defeated suprise mini bosses.

One thing I'm really excited about is the knockback system. Bullets now actually push enemies back depending on what weapon you're using. Some guns are now proper crowd control tools while others are pure damage dealers. It adds this whole new layer to weapon choice that I think you'll dig.

Performance was getting pretty bad in late game (sorry about that) but I spent a bunch of time optimizing, especially the coin system. Should run way smoother now even when the screen is covered in chaos.

  • Tons of small polish touches (honestly forgot half of them)

The boss fights feel intense, the knockback adds tactical depth, and everything just feels more polished overall.
